British escorts appear to be no different from any other species of humans when it comes to mate selection. And in this case height plays rather important role.
Research in today’s Nature by scientists in Poland and England suggests height itself plays an important role in turning a female’s head. A lot of experts, including James Gould of Princeton University, say there’s good evidence that the preference for height by female escorts, and long dorsal fins or tails by fish, is hard-wired in the brain and translates to good health. “When height is an indicator of health, this is not surprising, and if females are programmed to look for health, they would end up with taller males,” Gould says.”It’s entirely plausible this is true.”
Scientists from the University of Wroclaw in Poland studied 3,200 men (from 20 till 50 years old); whose average height was 5 feet 6 inches. The study shows that tall men have better education and are more likely to have family wealth.
Also some studies show that taller men are more likely to have children than shorter men and are more likely to be married (it’s very important fact for women). “Conversely, childless bachelors are significantly shorter than married men”, says Robin I. M. Dunbar of the University of Liverpool. “The more successful breeders were 1.2 inches taller on average than childless men, and those who were married were an inch taller on average than bachelors”.
According to the last researches 82% of women all around the world look for mates, who can provide survival and protection for both herself and her future family. In contrast 70% of men look for high class companions and the main choosing criteria is reproductive ability. So we come back in past, when women needed protecting and for female’s mind the best way of determining a man’s protection value is by how tall he is. Some women say that they feel safe, secure when even standing next to a taller man. Of course, there are also many reasons why escorts prefer tall men, for example women say it makes them feel more feminine next to a guy who is much taller than themselves, but the question of security is the most important for women in choosing partner.
Bobbi Low from the University of Michigan and author of Why Sex Matters, says: “Taller isn’t always better”. “The bottom line is men want healthy young women and women want healthy men with great resource potential.”
P.S.: The tallest ever man was American Robert Pershing Wadlow (Alton, Illinois) on 22 February 1918 and was last measured at 8ft 11.1in tall on 27 June, 1940.
The UK’s tallest man is Neil Fingleton, who was measured at 7ft 7.56ins at the Guinness World Records offices on January 29, 2007.
The former record holder is Mongolian Bao Xishun (China), who is 7’9” (2.36 meters).
He Pingping, 20 has applied to Guinness World Records to be recognized as the planet’s shortest person; he is just 73 cm, or about 2.4 feet tall.
