First Date Guide
Monday, November 24th, 2008Our life often runs in the home – work frames while both lads and girls try to find their “halves” at no particular success. Indeed, any meeting (particularly a happy one) is a lucky concatenation of whole set of circumstances. Certainly both young age and tameless desire to love take what they should. Guys and girls are summoned by one another like magnets: in clubs, busses, during lectures and in the office. A casual sight, word – and somebody’s phone is being noted, first date is appointed… Meetings happen at the skating rink, in the zoo, at some romantic town where one can roam along its streets, dropping in its cafes and bars for a casual talk.
There many ways to make a day unforgettable and at the same time non-committal in case people find no interest in continuing their acquaintance. Many people think that dating sites are only designed for loosers, but that is not true. Majority of visitors of such sites save a huge amount of time, money (no preliminary courting), or just looking for one night dating, mom-committal. Meanwhile have a look at some tips one may find useful at the first dating:
Attention boys:
· It is considered a gesture of politeness to pay the girl’s bill
· During the first date you need to tell a little about yourself, by chance learn her interests and views, smile and behave straight-forward and wittily, at the end of the date express your sympathy (if there is any) and make a hint you would not mind seeing her again.
· Flowers should ideally be given at the end of the date – you both learn her preferences and it looks spontaneous. Remember that it is not quite suitable to walk with a flower, if there is only one – it may look cheap, girls often tend to forget the lower on a bar’s table…
· If you invite a girl and hear in reply: “I do not want to date with anybody, I need a little bit of time to make myself out” – this would usually mean that a woman still suffers through her ex-relationships and is not interested in a new affair.
Attention girls:
· If he comes to the dating with his friend – it may look quite odd. Well, at least you will have a company for a drink or two.
· Sixth sense is telling you that your interlocutor is a morally immature person, windbag? Rely on it – your partner is probably just seeking for enjoyable pastime.
· If you really like the guy – do not wait until he calls, try to manage the situation. Otherwise it can turn into a wasted time.
· Do not build far-aheaded suggestions and long-term plans, it can hurt and be boring. A date or two does not mean you have serious relations.
· If a guy says he wants to take care of you – run. This will end up in you taking care of him.
